Any clues on where they're biting at Donnybrook. Do you fish the edge of the banks or the middle.

hi all
this is my first post in here just a quick note to say the summer whiting are on the chew in the toorbul donnybrook area we caught 32 between 6am and 11 am this morning size between 25 cm and 32cm with a couple just size

Well done Shance and welcome to Ausfish.

Take a look in the saltwater section for my post on elbow slapping whiting. You'll find that they seem to be on the chew all over the state..

We fished Donnybrook and Toorbul ALL day yesterday and all we got was one lizard on a lure that we trolled in desperation !!!!!!!!!
Just exactly where were you ?

HI ALL THANKS FOR THE WELCOME

WELL I GOT MOST OF THE WHITING ON THE BANKS OUT FROM MISSION POINT BUT ALSO GOT A FEW IN THE GUTTER JUST DOWN FROM THE X OVER MARK AS YOU COME OUT OF DONNYBROOK BUT I NORMALLY ONLY SEAT IN ABOUT 2 FOOT OF WATER AND USE BLOOD WORMS FOR BAIT
