Vale Don McPherson

A sad sad day in Australian fishing.

After quite a long battle with a tumor, Don McPherson passed away today.

For those that dont know Don, he is the owner of Australian Monofil, the company that make Platypus fishing lines, Bionic Braid, super Braid...


My thoughts go to his family and many many close friends.

Don was the type of business person we all aspire to be, he would listen to our ramblings at times take what he needed from that conversation and go away and make products to satisfy not only us but make money whilst enjoying what he did.
The work he has done with braid will never be matched and we thank him for that.
This is probably not the best avenue to pass on our condolences to his family however I sure they understand our fishing ways
