Does anyone know a way point for flinders as I will be fishing in the area and dont want to go in the green zone. The goverment web site says that you cant go with in a certain distance but doesnt give you a referance point.

Thanks Mark

You Can't miss Flinders reef as it is always out of the water. Just about 3 or 4 Kilometres North of the lighthouse on Moreton.
I think you will find information on any ramp near there like Bribies ramps.
I also think all the measurements are from the low water marks so beware when judging 100 metres or whatever the distance from a high water mark.

little flasher on it at night too. I'm a bit wary of giving nav marks, but it's easy enough to find. A couple of blokes in a caribean had the marks for it too a few months back, and they found it the hard way - trick is to keep one eye on the instruments and a good eye on the real world coming towards you.....

for your first trip Mark i would make sure that it day break before you get near Flinders. Very hard to see a night time unless there is waves crashing over it 8-)
