This Fri night just before 6pm I'll have underwater footage of a 7ft monster - half a ton of Qld grouper filmed on a night dive in the Seaway.
Also - it will be a whiting weekend on 4BC - tips and tricks to catch elbow slappers.

HI Nugget, missed you the last few weeks because of confusion over times. Thought you were moving to 5.25? So its 5.55 as usual?

Thanks for the great info.

I'm not sure on their timing plans - they did shift me to 5.25 for a while but seems like I'm back at 5.55pm now.
If you watch the footage tonight - check out the battle scars on this cod's head and bites out of its tail - there must be some game bullsharks down there to have a go at this fella.

Unfortunately they got the photos mixed up and showed a salmon when I was talking about tailor and a tailor when I was talking about salmon.

Five or six years ago they were unheard of up here but we get them very winter now - not sure if their numbers are increasing or not but there were a lot around this year.
It has been said that there is less comercial pressure on them in southern NSW - that's why we're seing more up here - who knows.
Not much to eat apparently but good fun.
