If you can make it,,,,,,, tassie is a great experience. I once did a circumnavigation of the whole island back when I lived in victoria and was skydiving.

We headed off from Melbourne on the Friday, jumped into king island that night. Next day we flew down the west coast to straughn at about 2000 feet. Then across to Hobart. Had a day in the area and then up the east coat to flinders? Island for the night. Then the next morning back to Melbourne.

On top of that I also did the Melbourne to devenport yacht race and sailed back from Hobart a few times. Crayfish on the barbie at bicheno,, just fantastic.

What I am waffling on about is that every time I have been to tassie, I have had a fantastic time.

Definately want to get back there again.
