scott,
Nt has a diverse species range as you probably well imagine. Medium sized lures on average baitcasting gear will see you fit for combat with many NT species. Shallow to mid diving lures in creeks and rivers will keep you interested for months on end. Surface poppers on spin gear will get the adrenalin pumping through your system with trevally, queenfish, and a mass of other species to keep your eyes 'poppin'! a simple wonder wobbler lure on a light rod will catch you fish everyday and in most locations. that goes for almost everywhere!
A slow twitch and pause style retrieve will catch you fish in NT creeks and river/headland systems. Don't stress, it can't be that difficult. Stay confident and stay positive. best of luck! any advice from someone else would be good!
