Hey Red Rock...nice job...looks like the kids are having a ball, and a good white fish to boot...Loved the shot of your steadying hands without "helping" too much...Well coached...Love the look of "I got it", I bet that queenie put it on too. I remember being at Bamaga at the Jetty 10 years ago and my little bloke caught a white fish...he still talks about it (not quite as big as your granddaughters) Congratulations Red Rock...ausfish should put up an award for Granddad of the year, isn't that what fishing is about...introducing the next generation into the joy of our sport...well done!

Reckon theres nothing better than introducing grandkids to fishing.

Many years ago hooked a dart on Wooyong Beach [Tweed], gave the 12' rod to my grandson with little drag on, and when that fish was landed his grin was bigger than the fish. To this day if we bring out the photo his face still lights up, and the catch was 10 years ago. Your pics brought back great memories.
