Hi,
Does anyone know of a product that will take the hardness out of aged vinyl and make it soft/flexible again.

Thanks

Try armourall or any of the other plastic conditioners used on your car

cover your girlfriend/wife/neighbours wife in baby oil and get her to sunbake on the affected seats. Combination of the oil and body heat should soften the vinyl or at least take your mind off it for a while

rub raw lanolin or dubbin or saddle soap into it....and pray cause once its craking its usually stuffed and needs replacing....

Oh and make sure that if you use dubbin or saddle soap you get ALL excess off before you sit on it.....

Perhaps contact Super Cheap or one of those car places. I imagine they would be able to help you.

Dubbin is absolutely first class for softening and helping against the effects of water etc. Great on boots as well!

I used this product last week and found it great just jub it on leave it for a few min and rub it off then I used a turtle wax 2000 and it is as soft as a baby's bum. Get it from a place that makes boat covers cost $12 it smells like hand cleaner so it might have lonolin in it it can be used for bucket loads of other cleaning uses like Stainless, stove, ovens, baths, showersEtc.

Bloody Great Mate
