AFC Series 3 - starts tomorrow Sunday Nov 27

12:00 to 12:30 in Brisbane but check your local guides

From 25 Dec the time changes to 4:30 pm

Then 29 Jan 4pm for an hour


I had a sneak at part of the first show - you have to see the "walk the dog" surface lure technique. Does he do that with the rod or is it a special lure?

It's a special lure, Gary.

Saw one on a dvd the other night. Think it is the same one. Anyway, thanks for the heads-up, and I'll be interested to see results.

it was a surface lure that swam side to side as you reeled it in.............the fish was going crazy for it

I couldnt quite catch th ename of teh lure - but it sounded like

Zara Spook.

Looked like a normal green HB ... but they only showed it very briefly.

any ideas what I am taloking about - I sure don't

yeh it is a zara spook lure and all they are is a torpedo type lure (like heddon smak and a few others)
to get the lure to move like that is all in the retrive
how it is done is with a steady retreve of wind and pause and that alowes the tail of the lure to swing and causes the side to side action

still thing a fizzer would of done just as well
