With the majority of ausfish members being older, I was just courious how many members there are under the age of 18.

Im 16 mate. Theres more of us in the younger generatino fishers. We've grown up with plastics, awesome reels, bag limits, size limits, closed seasons etc, so we cant really comment on many long term impacts on fishing but ive seen all of us *minors* comment and help out all you oldies!!! ;) We all have the same spirit and are hard hit by the fishing bug.

Im 24 but often get confused with someone 15 years of age :'(. Joys of having bugger all facial hair and the build of a biafran :(. maybe we should organize a meet and greet for those fisher persons 18 to 35 (contiki style) (or just an excuse to get blind drunk. ;)

Growing old is mandatory. >:(

Growing up is optional. ::)

Im 35

But I could swear that I was 18 about 2 years ago. And the last 5 years have been the fastest 6 months of my life.

Time definitely seems to go faster as you get older.

It certainly is a strange phenomenom.

The missus rekons I never grew up!!
She must be right, Last time I put the pink floyd on the stereo I had to turn it down cause my 18 year old son reckoned it was too loud and told me I would damage my hearing, and his.

I just replied with "I cant hear you, the music is too loud" ;D ;D ;D ;D

He goes out when I play AC-DC

Regards, Tony 8-)

My daughter keeps telling me I'm immature, does that count ?

All daughters say that ;D

Mine says that I show her up in front of her mates, her mates say that they think that I'm cool. IOW, it's only daughters that think that you should act your age ;D

That is a very tough question Scotty, can I call you Scotty??? Or do you prefer padwan fisherman???

My drivers licence says that I am 31, BUT, if you divide that by the amount of meat pies you can eat in an hour multiplied by the dichhead factor you achieve while drunk, minus the amount of girlfriends you have had in the last year, plus the number of weetbix you had for breackfast..... 103 carry the 2....... That makes me 81, wait a minute, that doesn't sound right. Oh yeah, divided by the number of voices you hear in your head and minus the amount you actually answer.... I believe that makes me about 31. But you would have to ask my girlfriend to get confirmation, sometimes she says am 31 and sometimes I am not allowed to play with the high school kids!!!! :-?

To cut a long and stupid story short, I am 31.

Fellas AC/DC may have been 80's but I can tell you that there are lots of youngin's that like 'em now. #Myself and virtually all of my mates love AC/DC, Zeppellin, Deep Purple, The Who, U2 etc. #
