Plenty of rain at Wooloowin, no hail thank goodness. But while it was on I had alook at BoM radar and once again it all missed the dam catchment.

Currumbin...4 hail stones hit here..3 hit the car big dents #:'( 1..missed...i think my family is cursed...if they were gold nuggets they would still hit our cars and then bounce off into someone elses yard and pocket.

We could hear it coming..like a million #horses in the distance...almost the whole street who had cars out in the open headed for the pines shopping center.

We have 5 cars to our house, although they are insured...@ $350 excess each... :-[ to much money this close to xmas.

Had a big one pass thru between Bundy and 1770!
We got a little bit here, but just south of us looked like they got hail (possibly baffle creek area) big green-purple clouds!!!
Not a lot of rain here though. :(

I know its old news now, but this is what hit the Oxenford area a couple of weeks ago. A lot of houses still with tarps on their roofs. We will end up with a new tin roof, and every one around us with tin are also getting new ones. Thank goodness for insurance.

Cheers

what a show it put on .....we did the double hussle trying to move stuff around in the garage ( too many bloody fishing rods ;D ) to get both cars in the garage before it hit ...naturally the hail just missed us ...but what a show !!!

Tell me about it Tony!!! :o
When I heard about the massive storm warning that was due to hit the area we had a bite to eat for lunch and left in a hurry. Didn't even get a chance to drop in and say hi to you, Sandi, Josh and Danielle. :( Sorry mate.
In the end, it didn't matter ... we got absolutly smashed just south of Bundy (near Childers). Was a rather frightning hour of driving thru the storm, towing a boat in pouring rain on a crap piece of hwy, with semis passing you at 110kms and plenty of idiots still speeding in poor visibility and unsafe conditions (heaps of water on road). Anyway, took a bit longer to get home but got there in the end and safely! :D ::)

Herby

p.s. At least we got some spaniards on this trip! ;D ;D Herby 1 - Roz 0 ;)
