Was that Nugget I saw being towed in through the Seaway today?
I can’t believe you were offshore in those conditions in a 4m half pointer.
And I thought I was mad.

Crikey – I can’t get away with much can I?
It was a bit joggly - probably not the smartest thing I’ve ever done - but did you see the mackerel?
I can’t believe I had them all to myself.
I was fishing the Seaway, saw the school out wide so chased them.
The under floor fuel line rubbed through in the bumpy conditions and the boat ended up smelling like a petrol bowser but no juice in the underfloor tank.
Probably a bit cheeky – but I trolled a lure while under tow - hooked up and landed a spottie and handed it (and few others) over as payment for the tow.
Big thanks to the guys in the red Haines 19L
I spend a lot of time on the water… Sometimes things go wrong.

You cheeky bastard! ;) ;D............but good thinking batman ;D
Yeah, I suppose the more time you spend on the water then the law of averages is gonna catch up with you, sooner or later. I think Murphy tried to solve that equation but ended up creating a whole new law ;D
Unlucky Dave, but hey!.......all's well that ends well.

The boat will never catch fish again Dave.
Petrol spills, she is finished, I read somewhere you were trying for a new boat, was this PLAN B but never got the match lit in time before some good doooer, came to your rescue Some people just ain't bore to be dishonest. ;D

You poor buggar Dave!
Mate I feel your embarrassment, even going for a fish off peak times gets you spotted when in trouble, but I guess that can be a good thing! ;D
Do you think if we all start wearing cowboy hats like yours, we can start a Nugget look alike comp? Might take a little heat off for you, what do you think? ;D ;D ;D ;D
But only you would feel relaxed enough catching a fish while in tow, that's awsome! Well done!
