Any one been out the river this week. Just asking cause I read in the newspaper that US warship Ronald Regan is in town this week and said that some roads will be closed (ie can you still launch at whyte island) and a 150m exclusion zone around the ship.

Any current info appreciated.

"No stopping No Parking" signs everywhere.

Waterside Restrictions are in place with penalties applying.

This applies to "The Port Area"

Can anyone explain the applicable boundaries ?

Get rid of he rocket launchers! And if you have a beard, -- better shave before you launch your boat. And DO NOT wear a back pac! Other than that, any time you hear sirens and find a little red lazer light on your chest you should be OK.

Contacted the water police and said that whyte island ramp is open, free to head out of the river and water police will keep you clear of the radiation boat.
