for those of you who have read the adventures of pop and g/son,,, please tell me this is normal

i've just got home from work about 10 mins ago,,, and theres a note sitting on the computor to call my darlin' daughter in law URGENTLY,,,, i panic,,, whats wrong,,, has something happened to my best mate,,, i make the phone call,,, and through little giggles and smirks she tells me this;;

i got choppa jr a little surprise today,,, a fish tank and a gold fish,,he's always rambling on about you and him fishn,, i decided to buy him one,, anyway i brought it home and set it up before he came home from pre school, and he was that it excited when he saw it, he wouldn't shut up,, so i asked him what he was going to call his new pet,,, hang on i'll put him on and he can tell you himself okay??

hello pop,,, i got a fish,,in tha tank
oh good onya mate,, whats his name?

yeh mate, what did you call him?
BAIT,,, pop,, we goin fishn??????????????????

i could hear his mother burst into another fit of laughter as i said;;;;
not tonite chop,, not tonite, luv ya,, bye..................................

are goldfish protected???????????????????????

i was introduced to fishing while still in pre school (took a bream for show and tell one day).

to this day (17 years later), i still love it as much!!

Although hard to imagine this can and in some cases go much farther.

As a kid I had a nice fish tank.

On days when I could not go out fishing I did practice on the fish in the tank.

Made myself some smallish hooks from copper wire, a fine line and fish food for bait.
