[smiley=angryfire.gif] Giday everyone. I'm just new to all this computer stuff, so bear with me. Looking foward to using this site as I am very keen fisho. Most of my fishing is done on the Murray and on Lake Hume in the Albury Wodonga area, with the occasional trip up in to the Upper Murray and Mitta Valleys chasing trout. I am a career Firefighter, so I try and use my days off chasing fish. If anyone needs any info about the area dont hesitate to contact me. All the best.

Just had dinner and logged on. Great to have responces already. I have found out on the river, if you are fishing you are on the same level as the next bloke, no matter how big your boat is. Thank you for a great intro to the ausfish site. Looking foward to tips and info and hope I can add something to the site.

heard somewhere that the poor old Murray has dropped from an average of 20 feet to 6 foot, very sad if thats the case.

Hi firie, I hale from Albury, fished about everwhere on Murray , ovens, mountains, lakes etc. Favourite lake - Khancoban, favourite river - upper Murray above Bringenbrong, favourite stream -upper Buckland.

mmmmmmm Buckland, I have a photo on my office wall in Darwin of my son casting a celta on the Buckland. mmmm brown and rainbow trout, mmmmm sambar deer.

Only thing I miss about Albury is my son, the mountains and the river. Fortunately I see my son every holidays. But I miss being cold in the mountains.
