Gday, Can anybody help with locating some fish ID cards. You used to be able to by them like a pack of water proof cards that you could swivel around and keep in the boat. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

I could be mistaken but I think I've seen waterproof fish id cards for sale on the Northside of Brissy somewhere recently. They were either at Northside Marine or at the Tackleworld Store at Sandgate!

were those the ones with the ruler on them and brought out by NSW Fisheries??
They were really good, but as usual, NSW Fisheries only made a few. They were free when I got mine and were very popular. If the Fisheries were serious they would make some more. Wouldn't even matter if you had to pay for them. :-[

Those waterproof fish id cards went out of print about 6 years ago!!
Great idea, don't know why they stopped. I have a set in the shop here that I use to show customers what different species look like. Could sell stacks if they were still available :(

(could be a buisness opportunity for some enterprising Ausfisher) ;) ;)

Regards, Tony

P.s dpi had a waterproof fish id book available for a while, only covered coral reef fishes though!!
