Can anyone tell me the exact recipe for dough mix, i used to use one with cheese and sausage meet and flour but i cant remember the exact measurements. I took the dough mix over to moreton Island a year back and cleaned up on good sized bream and flathead. Actually everything i caught that year was caught on the dough mix so it does work....So yeah, hopefully someone has the recipe for me as im going over in three weeks to clean up again......

cheers..

Ask Mary-Ann she should have the recipe, probably involves Gingers coconuts.

thre's no recipe, just mix flour and water......its its too wet add more flour, if its too hard, add more water

keep it in a plastic bag to stop it drying out

If you want the more up market fish - I suggest you use flour, baking powder (tea spoon) and buttermilk.

Taken with a cold beer the chesse and sausage taste great. I know a lot of southerners swears by dough and have often thought of trying it myself. The basics seem fairly simple but what cheese would you use?

I've heard of a mix using bread, spread with vegemite and topped with cheese. make up a few of these and take fishing. if your feeling peckish....have a sanger, but as a bait you just mush it all up into a dough and mould around your hook. very handy if you have as a backup bait. don't use the crust....too stiff to form a dough ball so just eat those bits ;D ;D ;D

cheers, roo.
