the 2006 Flattie classic is getting started again this year.
the Dates are 5-6-7th October.
with the sign on night the 4th October.
Entry forms will be on the web site soon .

hello cloud9 i have never fished a comp like this before . I have won heavest flattie at the king of the pin a few times , but i think this will be alot different.I am getting a new boat soon and i am keen as mustard to get into something like this .Can u please forward some details for me .

last year was 145 to start then 165 after a surtain date to try get poeple to enter earlyer.
you get lots of stuff + dinners.

yes I know the format, I fished the first 8 years of them as a SEQTAR team, good event. It's a little harder to get the time off work these days.

i will be back and hoping for some better weather this year
was so windy last year every time i cast a lure it flew back over my head lol

this years dates are. 5-6-7th October.

major prize this year a MAKO CRAFT 4.35 with a 40 E-Tec.
junior is a 3.85 with a 6 Hp Johnno.
at this stafge the cost looks like being the same as last year at $165 bucks.
with a $20 discount for early entry.

hay mate
iv herd alot about the flatty classic and im tihnking of enternig im 16 and dont have a boat :'( do you need a boat to enter , and do you enter in teams oh is it an indivadual every?

The way to go is generally in a team of minimum 2, max 3 anglers.
You might get lucky and an Ausfisher might be looking for a team member.
Perhaps there will be somone out there looking for a deckie for the Classic.
The boat part is pretty important though.
The end prize is an absolute ripper though!!!
