Sand Pumping Jetty

Not sure if this has been posted already but I saw a notice in the GC Bulletin relating to the closure of the GC Seaway sand pumping jetty for 6 months from 13th June. They are replacing handrails and decking.

That should just about cover the tailor season. I don't fish it but I guess there will be a few more around elsewhere.

Six months should see a few fish take up residence. The opening week might be interesting.

I reacon they get used to the noise if there is no threat associated with it. Anyway the dredging operation sfrom the jetty pumps are pretty noisy.
