Moderator Alert Button !

Most of you would have noted the new " Moderator Alert Button " at the top RHS of posts.

WE have recieved many ' alerts ' and would like to thank those that have initiated these.

We get many alerts and combined with screening the boards ourselves are kept very busy. If you have sent an alert and do not get a response from a Moderator, don't think we didn't act or recieve said alert. The alert will be enacted on by the Administration or a Moderator as according to the AF rules and by our own thoughts / views on the offending post.

I would however, like to remind members that the Alert is designed for an " offensive or offending " post that requires attention as soon as possible. Posts that need attention due to non-offensive material can be pm'd to a Moderator or Administration. But feel free to utilize any method that is best suited to you.

I had set-up the PM redirect to go to my BlackBerry phone. With the Mod Alerts, I'm getting PM to my phone at all hours. Not good at 3am..

I'll be turning that feature off now I think.

Yep, its a great idea, but please lets not use it just for gripes.
