G'day Hi-Yo,


Yeah, I'm after a little rig which will be easy to put in and out of the water and is light enough and small enough to be maneuvered by myself at the boat ramp without getting an ahernia.

I've been thinking of a V-nosed punt of about the 12foot mark. They offer great stability, and being aluminum, they are also nice and light.

I was going to put a little 5hp or so on it and when I want to I can transfer it to the main boat to be used as an auxiliary.

Anyway I thought that if the boat show was just around the corner I would hang off on purchasing anything until I had checked out the boat show first.

Hope you come up trumps at the boat show Louis. I havent checked my roster yet, but with any luck im not working. I will be going this year as I have missed the last 6. Im sick of working shift work. Im looking forward to seeing what specials sundown will have.

I will also be making a trip down to the boat show maybe we should all get together and hassle some sales reps for some good deals it always pays to buy in bulk . ;)

Maybe we should all order some ausfish caps and take over one of the pubs after we hit the sales reps for some bulk buy discounts. It would be great to meet and lie (opps sorry, tell stories) about some of our catches over a couple of beers.
