was on here nearly at its begining only under another name, " The wormer " i think ,but went off line for quite a while as there wasn't much content, then reapeared about 2 years or so ago as " Surf Sniper " :)

There was a Chat Board before this style but it could not be convertered over. The site has been online since 1994 and the original chat board started around 1998.

Have attached a screen shot of the old boards.

Big difference to the script used today.

Seems like quite a time since we had that old board. I see me and Lucky Phil were quite active back even then. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I see all the original moderators are on that page.

From memory that screen shot was how it looked the day the old one closed and we went to the first YaBB Board.

We have come a long way since then with now having 370460 Posts within 40855 Topics and 14108 registered members.

thats interesting. Only 11 members since 2001, were are all the members
that I saw on that old chat page? I realize, that not all members will
see this post, but some of the names are not here either.
Good to see, that there are loyal members still on board.
And yes, this is imformation gold mine.

I think this an appropriate thread to make my 100th post!

A bit cheap but hey!!

seems like ive been here forever, sad when it seems to eat up a chunk of your life, what a great place to be.
must keep us healthy too as RON COLLINS is the only regular member I think we have lost (forgive if there have been others), we have seem members lose family members and maybe this site and support of members may have helped them through their period of grieving. Seen the lifes of other members unfold through illness and to come out the other side (good on you Touchy), as well as others.
great site and lets hope it enjoys lots of growth through the coming years.
