Boats N Bites - Bris 31

Briz 31 has a new show on called Boats N Bites. For those interested it's showing tonight at 8pm, Saturday at 5pm and Thursday next week. Bill Corten (Bush N Beach) and myself have done a segment each. Aimed at newbies to boating and fishing.

You can get it on foxtel and austar. Other than that I think it is available within a small radius of Brisbane.

If you can get SBS, you can get bris 31 (on analogue TV's of course)

I still have one analogue TV I use to occasionally watch Bris31, and I am nearly at Caboolture, so most people around Brisbane should be able to get it..

Feral, I get a great clear picture of SBS, even better than the commercial stations. I am unable to tune in Bris 31. is it because I am in Agnes Water ???? ;D ;D ;D

Leeann, there will be a host of ferets, like me, here, that are unable to get the Bris31 channel. Will there be another option ??

Even if people with older TV's don't have UHF they can still tune the VCR into Briz31 (Provided they didn't throw them away when the DVD craze started) ;D

Bill Corten will also be showing it at the Fishing Expo stage before presentations start each day. The show will be shown tonight and the others shown on Briz 31 will be repeats of the same show.

Top effort on the telly, the program came across in very practical way, I much prefer your format to the flashy, noisy, more commercial type shows.

Loved the whole thing,

Very informative for the beginner boatie, up to date info on the capacity labels, good bar crossing tips - the biggest tip never to lose your cool and try turn around during a crossing. But the cardinal markers... :-/ :-/ :-/ I wish I recorded it. Black band between yellow top and bottom means west?? N/NE I dunno. ;D

I was distracted half way through when one of my family wanted to speak with me, so I lost my concentration.

What "boof head" would break your rod Leeann? I hope it was not one of your favourites!

Must admit that seeing that guy break your rod is not giving me warm feelings about lending Pete my new G Loomis for a quick session in the morning! :o I will be waiting for it's safe return! ;) As Scalem said - I hope it wasn't one of your fav's! :) :)

God help him if he does it again. I think I was being kind to him when I called him a Boofhead BUT it was all in the name of good fun. I had a ball fishing with Glen... I love his humour!
