I hope no one gets hurt or any property is damaged, but we could sure use the rain. I have met a few of the folks that live on moreton and I wish them all the best, they are a really nice group of friendly ppl.

100kph = 54 knots. It has been getting up towards that in the middle of the Bay today...

The plan was to take the grandkids for a quick fish in at Caloundra this morning. Raining cats and dogs at the mo. Winds not as bad as expected though.

The weather has not stopped all boating activity though. #This was at Victoria Point. #The trainer stayed in the lee of the land though. #

Another tinny with three guys on boat returned from the top end of Coochie whilst I was there. #I reckoned that #they were keen simply because it was a bit rainy and miserable to be in an open boat. #Still, I suspect that the stubbies helped. # ;D
