IQF pillies in short supplies

i buy iqf pillies by the 15kg ctn.i have not been able to any from my usual supplier and he informs me that tweed bait cant even get any,so stock up as there are only plenty froggies about at this time

Response to Boof's post.

E-mail first, as what they advertise is not always what you get due to supplier shortages. And your not told of the swap until you pick-up goods. Very frustrating as you've already paid for advertised products.
Also when they mention WA IQF pillchards, they are from WA , but not necessarilly 'THE WA PILLCHARDS'.
This is only my experience, I may have been unlucky. But three times.....
The strange thing is I still use them, as it is a good service when everything runs smoothly.

I was fortunate enough to score some excellent pillies recently from a pro friend...we took them out last trip, but didn't want to berley them so took a couple of frozen blocks...I can't believe some stores actually sell the crap we cut up for bait...some were barely 75mm long...there sure is some rubbish around at the moment althought there are plenty of slimies and yakkas around ATM
