Bargains?

As I expected, there weren't any to be had. There were more people there than at the Gold Coast Boat Show!

I doubt any1 did there homework, because most of the things went for retail price or more. I'm sure there was some cheap stuff, but the big items like motors, Zodiacs, Computers, TV'S, Stereos ect went for a rediculous price.

And I was set for a good day!

Regards

Darren

P.S. I suspect most bidders forgot about the 12.5% bidders fee to be added onto the prices.

The best was the guy who paid $15 more for a bilge pump than the price tag that was still on it. ;D ;D ;D

Prices on average would've been within 10% of retail without warranty.
Some good prices on tools out in the workshop.

At the end of the day, if you weren't there, you didn't miss much.

Yep, I agree fully, the prices were amazingly ridiculous.

The one I liked was the Clarion CD players that had been replaced under warranty because they were stuffed... one even had the face missing off it and people paid $250 each for them ::)

I did end up buying a Raymarine 435 GPS and 4 sets of storage shelves.

Cheers

Pete
