A mate of mine has just picked up 20 acres at the top of Colosseum Creek!

Does anyone have an idea if the area is worth a go?

Any additional info would also be appreciated!!

it's to the south of gladstone and your mate is now definitely worth visiting with your boat ;)

Gladstone guys just had a M&G in that region on the weekend. Haven't heard how they went yet. Good area for whitting, crabs and a whole lot of other species. Pleeez, organise a M&G if you can.

absolutely awesome area, visited it for the first time on the weekend with some of the other local ausfish guys and fell in love with the area. I will definately be going back.

Well you blokes have confirmed it for me!!!

Not sure of when the first trip will be.......may have to be sooner than later!

Any tips for species/locations etc.

sorry about the double post ::)

as i said zedjack, Ive only been there the once so I'm no expert on the area but you'll find a mixed bag of species and a vast area to locate them in. DNO is the Colosseum guru.
