Stolen rods - North Stradbroke

we had our holiday ruined on Sunday just gone (15/10/06) - over two thousand dollars worth of rods and reels stolen from the front of the house at point lookout.

penn international 50 + custom full roller 15-24kg

tld25 + budds phase 3 custom M10

penn spinfisher 850ss + custom Gary howard "knobby thumpa"

penn lever drag 45gls + 15-24kg rod

These are quite distinctive rods and i am putting this up here in the hope that when the local piece of #$% that stole them goes to sell, they may be identified.

Kris i live up the point will keep my eyes open, made my blood boil when i had my pots stolen so know how you feel,did you ring the local copper i think his name is grant heard hes a prety nice bloke, where were you staying?

Hi Nuffy,

we did have a chat to one of the Dunwich police who was a real decent bloke but did not hold much hope for the recovery of the gear. I would appreciate if you keep an eye out, although i think the gear will be sold on the mainland, as it will be very noticeable over there.
