The Maxxum has full variable speed control and the Endura has set speed selections, i'll take some shots tomorrow and put them up for you

I think the Maxxum also has the maximiser system which gives better battery life. If someone wants a salt water model, I'll swap Paul the Maxxum for my 40lb Riptide transom mount and you can have that for the same $.

Sorry about the delay, had a busy day yesterday

In the photo, the one on the left is the Maxxum, it has the Maximiser for longer battery life, and a built in batery meter, Full 100% variable Forward & Reverse. This unit is a few years old but never had that much use as I replaced it shortly after buying it with a Bow mount Auto pilot instead, maybe 10 or 15 hrs use.

The one on the right, is the Endura, doesn't have Maximiser (I think) it has 5 set forward speeds and 3 set reverse, it also has an extendable handle and is in the fully out position in the photo.
This unit is only about 18 mths old, and has only been used twice, be lucky to have a couple of hours on it. I actually still have the carton it came in.

Roy i'm not entirely certain that it would stand up to exclusive salt water use but there's always this option that Aussiebasser put up

If someone wants a salt water model, I'll swap Paul the Maxxum for my 40lb Riptide transom mount and you can have that for the same $.

Outside of that i'll make some enquiries and get back with the answer.

You can get corrosion anodes from whit###### bolt around the shaft. I have used my freshwater exclusively in salt for 3 years now and it still goes well...without the anode. Sean

Herby13, the prices I was given by dealers was a couple of hundred difference in them.

Righto, the Maxxum is gone and for the sake of getting the Endura out of the shed and getting used by someone instead of gathering dust.

I'll take $300 and throw in the large solar cell that I have or $250 on it's own
