View Full Version : Minn Kota RT40 RipTide Bow Mt, foot control

I have for sale a Minn Kota Bow Mount RT40 (RIPTIDE) with Foot Control.
It's was originally purchased back in 1999 but has little use and has in fact been stored away in my bedroom collecting dust for the last 3 years.
It is an Auto Pilot model, although I can't remember that working when last bolted onto the boat ?

I originally had a price tag of $700 on this motor but have now dropped it to $500 as I have not got around to servicing this motor prior to being offered here.

I have a couple of guys interested in the motor at this stage but I have chosen to also advertise it here as I am keen to sell a.s.a.p.

I gave the motor a quick dust off recently and hooked it up to a battery but the prop failed to spin. It's more than likely the motor needs a good clean up or possibly a service.

I should soon be able to advise if the motor is still for sale if anyone is interested,

Motor is going to BLA tomorrow for a quote for a service.

Will update price and details in the near future.

Will measure shaft length tonight.

Ran the tape measure along the shaft, would appear to be a 48 " .

O.K Guys, I collect the motor from BLA this Friday.

The motor will be fully operational including the Auto Pilot feature.

BLA are replacing the electrical board and the motor will receive a full service. This repair work is costing me approx $450. This receipt will be available for verification.

The revised price tag for this item is now $750
