Could be wrong - I'm no expert.... not even a pert ;) but it looks like a 21 pitch merc prop. At least it looks like the 17 and 19s I have here and the numbers on the side indicate 21 pitch??

Ahoj do you have any pics of the numbers on the side? can tell better then if its after market model or factory. (at least thats what Finga tells me)... between him and Crestcutter... thats everything I know about props... like I said not much :D Finga (Scott) will know more about what its worth... over to you!

The front numbers Scott? Have no idea... BUT the lead number 48 is the same as the ones I have here - so does that indicate the Merc number?... anyway - its definitely for an older Mercury engine, either outboard or inboard (is there any other kind? ::)) but my suggestion would be a big motor - say 150hp plus? or even an inline v6?

Sorry for hijacking Ahoj, but that one wont push my old 80hp... the pitch is way too big IMO.

But that should help narrow down what type of prop it is and what it would be good for. Outboard mechs will still ask up to $60 plus for them - maybe $140 if the thing is recupped and painted... so maybe theres still a deal to be made... clean it up and throw it on e-bay have seen them go there for good money.
