Time to sell the old boat after purchasing a new one from Ausfish member McCod.
The old boat is a customer built 4.3 metre plate alloy tinnie with a 1995 40hp Yamaha Enduro - fantastic outboard! Carpetted with a front casting platform and side storage pockets. The 36lb minn-kota transom mounted electric is only 1 month old with new battery. It also has a Garmin 120 fishfinder and a hand held GPS.
The boat has good high sides and is very stable at rest, but has a shallow draft to get into skinny water, so is a great allrounder. Purchased it in Cairns where it was at home catching barra and jacks in the rivers. Moved to Brissie where it has proven very versatile catching squire in the bay to flathead at the pin! It could probably do with a paint job - but it is a fishing boat.
