Hooker 5.9m Centre Console

I am helping a mate out by listing his boat here on Ausfish. The boat is only just over two years olds and boat is still under factory warranty. Five years for Hookers. Its powered by a 75 Merc Two Stroke which I believe has just done over 100 Hours. The boat has just come been serviced before being advertised. The owner is asking $31,000 ONO. Hard Top Centre Console with Stainless Steel Supports ( extra wide), Helm Seat - Insulated, Swing over back rest, rear boarding ladder, bow sprit, extra battery, full length s/s rails, baitboard with s/s legs, front seat with storage, s/s rocket launchers, infloor kill tank, live bait tank.

Safety Gear included: VHF Marine Radio, Hummingbird Sounder, Lowrance GPS, Fire Extinguisher, Epirb, standard marine life jackets, 2 x 120 metre anchor

75 HP.Mercury 2 stroke OutBoard, 200 litre fuel tank, dual batteries.

I'd like to take the credit for it Al, but this was done by someone else when my mate ordered the boat new from Leo's here in Townsville. Certainly looks the part doesn't it. Still got your boat Al, or have you sold it?

They are great boats, I live in townsville and a mate has one. They love the choppy conditions we get up here. And seem to give a better ride the faster they go which is good.

My mate has a 90 yam two stroke on the back. And we both feel that it is underpowered. It would be ideal with a 100 or even 115 seriously.

i helped pick up his 5.9m hooker, bought directly for the builder in cairns. he then fitted the motor and the rest i.e. sounder, plotter, ss canopy, all up 32k this was less then 3 years ago.

Seeing as you have bumped this tread a few times. i assume lack of interest is an issue. I think that may be due to the price. :o

I didn't set the price on the boat JIMMY80, but I would like to see you buy a new 5.9m with all the extra's in the photo for around mid $30's. I have a 5m side console and alone the hull is $17500. A qoute was supplied by Hooker themselves to me for a BMT Package; 5m Centre Console, 75 Two Stroke, on the water no electronics and this was $31000. This quote is only two months old. :D

Yeah i hear what your saying, a new 5.9m hooker will be up near the mid 30's.

but a two year old 5.9m hooker, which other then the 75hp is exactly the same as my mates, for 31K ?
(and imho a 90hp is just acceptable)

Just trying to give u some feed back, as to why it isn't selling.
