Really long shot

would anyone by any chance.have a Remote for a NEC video Recorder model VN201.
I need one to set stations so i can record on Video Recorder and they are currently set on brisbane stations
I would be happy to buy or hire as i only really need it for a few minutes

If you live on the south side try recycleland at the redland bay dump you never know you luck.There are always heaps of remates there.

You could also try the BC-9950 learning remote from Jaycar electronics. It has NEC VCRs programmed into it already.

ya can buy universal ones at the wharehouse cheap as well.

Careful buying a universal one, I did and it would do all functions except the programable record timer which with my model, had to be done with the remote. In short, waste of money even though it was guaranteed to do the job.

I got a universal remote from dick smith. There are several models, the top of the range remote sells for $39 and it lets me program my LG video. You should be able to tune the stations manually? Good luck.
