Why dont you try Smart Aluminium they have 3 stores .Virginia,Moorooka, or Nerang. They always have offcuts.

go to AMM or Noble Boats, both at brendale and sure to have offcuts, as above also you will be surprised how cheap you can get it from smart aluminium, AJC electrical also has a fabrication shop and have many offcuts at geebung.
