Wanted EFI 115-175 hp

Am chasing a late model EFI used outboard. Obviously the cheaper the better. I am planning to start doing some offshoring in my latest addition, a 5.5 safari... At the moment i have a '73 Johnson 115 PTT, but i wanna switch to efi and a newer motor... Any ideas where to look or what price to expect? New motors in the size im chasing are upwards of 10k... prefer evinrude/johnno

give boatorama at the gold coast hwy labador they have a 130hp 2stroke Yamaha 06/07 with 30hrs on the clock for $8500.00 with waranty and looks a good motor ask to speak to Rob

Both are sounding very sweet, but 10k i would have to get a loan for... i can do up to 6 without a loan... And johnno/evinrude is best so i dont have to redrill holes in my transom...

Mate, you shouldn't have to redrill holes as I believe all late model motors have same bolt pattern. I notice yours is 73 model. Would probably have to redrill for anything if not the same as you have now. Why limit to Johno/even?. Would give you more options. More homework required!! Cheers Pete
