I have a 36lb Minn Kota bow mount with auto pilot (foot pedal controls) which I've had on my 3.75m tinnie and it pushed it around beautifully. I have rarely used it in the last 2yrs and it is in A1 condition. It's not the salt water version but I am reliably informed that tests have been done on them and they will stand up to the salt water no worries (salt water version has a sealed coating, sealed wiring and a sacraficial anode-all of which you can probably do yourself!?) and I've used it in the salt a few times with no problems at all. My brother used to use it in the freshwater dams around Toowoomba until I bought the boat of him but I never really needed it. I have taken it of the boat and it's ready to go. Bought new for $1000 in 1999 have made a few calls and it's worth about $600. New ones still about $999. Make me an offer otherwise I think I'll ebay it. Give me a call on 0427008348.
