10hp Outboard wanted

I am looking for a 10hp Outboard, short shaft but can use long shaft if necessary. Would prefer Yamaha, Mariner, Tohatsu but will certainly consider others.

This is my second try at posting this - the first seems to have disappeared.

Am about to leave on a fishing trip but will reply to all messages on my return, which will be not later than Tuesday 16-1-2007

Mate I have a 1999 Mariner 9.9 short shaft in excellent condition used very very little . Has about 50 hours on it and has only had freshwater use at Lake Hume and at Cressbrook dam near Toowoomba and a few trips to the outback on the Darling River
Its well worth 1000 bucks.

Thank you for your response, Norm. That motor sounds just great and I would say that, at the asking price, it is a bargain. However, at the moment my budget won't stretch to that amount. Sorry.
