Fish for Big W

The Somerset & Wivenhoe Fish Stocking Assn released 17 000 Silver Perch fingerlings into Lake Wivenhoe today. Most of them were released into Logans Inlet & some into Hamon Cover. All were big healthy fingerlings.

Fantastic, time to get a day job I think. The don't belong there. Mind you, they'll probably make a nice pic in a few years time. That's gotta be worth something.

You can stock only what you are allowed, even if they aren't native to the area, while more native fish are disallowed. Thats the rules of the game that the fishing management bodies have made up.
