hi all ;)my first post here ;D;i have a de havilland 3.6 sea topper and would like to purchase a new 2 stroke motor.the advice from a couple of dealers so far has been different :-/ im using a 6hp (old one)and its a relieable plodder but is under powered i reckon.a new 6 or 8 sounds good but for a few hundred extra i can get a 15hp.would this be too much for the hull???? i fish botany bay and sydney harbour.im no revhead but with strong tides or a mate on board it takes all day to get anywhere.any advice? ps ive been looking at the range of mercs. best wishes H :) :)

you would have to check to see if the plate lets you put on a 15hp but I had a 3.66 and put a 15hp on it and did it go or atleast seemed so.
