I am after some advise my boat rides high in the bow , now most of the weight is at the back (motor, battery, console and me ) its only a 4.55 with weight up the front as in 2 bloke and esky it ride perfect. I have trimed it up and down but would like to get the nose down more sometimes would one of the large cav plates (I think like the stingrays) do the job and help lift the back? If the answer is yes metal or rubber/plastic and anything to look for in one?
thanks all

Hi Krazyfisher,

Get a permatrim. Made from plate aluminium, made a huge difference to my boat.

Same as you, weight in the back end but rode well with a body sitting on the front casting platform.

Now I can go by myself without any probs. The boat get on the plane quick.

Hi Krazy
What Kind of 455 are we talking about
Normally Engine height is the first consideration.Don't buy a foil if you don't need one.

I have lifted the motor and played with it but as it is a rear side console all the weight is down the back I think it needs help getting the bum out of the water
