I am purchasing a new tinny in the 3.8 to 4.0 meter range.
I fish fresh water , mainly Copeton dam which is about four times bigger than Sydney Harbour when its full , so it can get fairly rough . I also do some estuary fishing .
I am worried about a punt rattling my teeth out in a big chop and if a V bottom would be stabble enough for standing and casting lures . So if anyone can advise from experience or what they have heard please help.

have to agree, ive got a 400 hornet trophy and couldn't be happier. Its stable and rides extremely softly. If you can afford it go the hornet.
