Haven't heard much but what little that is around is good. I do know that they are a rebadged Suzuki and that there have been some good deals going around trying to get back into the market.

they are a re badged suzuki, they are are the best motor by far in there class, with twin cam, multi valve, E.F.I., i can go on, lol...

i have a 40hp, it is an evinrude rebadged suzuki, now gone johnson, lol....

only differece from the 50, is that it has been detuned, via, cam profile and computer mapping.

the only thing that puts them down compared to others, is that it is 108kg, very heavy.... in tilt/trim/remote version. other than that you just can't out do them...

WITH THE WEIGHT IN MIND, IF YOU WERE GOING TO BUY ONE, MAKE SURE YOUR TRANSOM WEIGHT IS NOT EXCEEDED, AS THIS WILL EFFECT YOUR INSURANCE,, JUST ASK ME ABOUT THAT....
