Welcome back Smithy.
Sounds like a bit of a project.
If you go and see Ross at Formosa boats at Wakerly he will be able to do any alluminium welding for the floor frame if need be, or Sea Quip at Capalaba.
I made the front deck for my boat myself and covered it with carpet. I used 19mm ply and waterproofed it.
If you are a bit handy I would think that a front deck for your boat will not be hard and you may even be able to get away without any welding for this.
But a full floor needs plenty of suport to hold it up and make it solid.
PM me if you need any contact details and I will write the number down when I drive past next.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Kev
