I have an old 4.15 m Hydrofield and want to move the fibreglass centre console back about a metre or so to use a yet to be installed rear cast deck as a seat, #and create the purfect space for a live well where the centre console currently is. #Unfortunately this means I can't use the old one (full of holes anyway). #Can anyone recomend a builder/ supplier in the Brissy area that could do it (build or have frefab the console that is). #Just looked iun the book and theirs lots to choose from.

thanks in advance # [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Afternoon Simon,
Alloy may be the way to go. Can be custom built a lot easier than F/G & will be lighter. Allows you to fit a windscreen, grab rails, storage shelves or even a bimini top. Easy to attach to deck with heavy duty S/S bolts & nuts via a round inspection port cut into the deck for access. Ark marine at Virginia have done a lot of work for me. Top jobs at the right price! Give Rod a call & discuss your project.

Simon

Polycraft make a very compact centre console for ther 4.55 quick craft that bolts in. May be worth considering.
