475 Legend - weight

Just wondering if anyone out there is running a 475 Legend and has had it over the weigh bridge?

Am thinking of upgrading but am currently running hitch rated to only 1000kg.

Using factory specs for boat/trailer/motor getting a figure of around 974kg, but knowing what factory figures are like http://members.optusnet.com.au/lanemeyer/forum/smilies/41616-4.gif what do you think my chances are of getting under the 1000??

Mate if the factory figure is 974kg, it will probably be a dry weight and by the time you chuck in a bit of gear/fuel you will for sure be over the capabilities of the tow bar .
My way of thinking is to get the best bar you can when you get the car.
You can always go to a public weigh bridge like at a scrap metal yard or somewhere that weighs trucks in and out and they will give you a certificate for a price.(not all will do it)
