any advice

the tinnie i recently bought was covered in stickers i have removed them and cleaned the boat in ali-brite which made the rest of the boat clean but where the stickers were is still dull i tried eucaliptus oil, took the leftover glue of but is still dull
any ideas ???

Have you tried to ali-brite after removing the glue, it probably just didn't penertate the glue.

if it is still sticky thats the problem.if the stickers have been there for a long period of time the sun may have changed the colour of the boat around them,i know it happens with paint but not sure if its the same with aluminium

Try K&M fiberglass polish. i use it on my bullbar . brings it up like new. straight truckwash also gets stick muck off. i used it when i took the old company sticker off the cruiser .

try scrubbing the ali with a scotchbrite then use your tinnie polish willend up heaps shinier than new

when i removed the old company sickers off my ute i used just plain cutting compound and that worked a treat whole tray is as shine as a new one :D
