Hi fisho22
The stickers will stay there IF you clean all the powdery coating off the aliminium. when you fit new ones warm them with a heatgun and it will help seal the edges, the stickers are made of a vinyal with a pressure sensitive glue, in the trade we apply them with a tool called a squeegee an apply a far bit of pressure and work from the top to the bottom
Heaps better than trying to paint them and neater, I think ausfish can set you up with a set
cheers

I got sick of my rego numbers peeling and breaking (with age). I ripped them off, cleaned it up and painted in between the lines that were still left. Pretty sure I just used some cheap enamel black paint. Looks alot better than it used to and no signs of any deterioration after 2 years.
