Good idea for auto bilge pumps

Looks like a good bit of gear and the price is right. The mercury activated ones out here are outrageously priced. I did have one wired into the floor well of my haines for auto pump out if it copped heavy rain when I left it moored overnight but I found the constant cut in - out of the bilge pump with water sloshing around in the well during fishing drove me nuts so I had to wire it to a separate switch for auto only ops. This would be my suggestion to anyone fitting one.
