Hi guys.

Having a look at a buying a 435 Stessl truck / 40 hp Honda with self draining deck for estuary and close inshore work.
Anyone with any experiance with this boat and or suggestions.

Just something to think about mate but when i was looking at the truck range the bare hulled 4.65 truck was only like 400 bucks more than the bare hulled 4.35 so yeah. ALOT better value. Fair enough there will be extra costs with a bigger hull but you get ALOT more boat for the money. Cant go wrong with a bigger boat :D Could always start with a tiller and as you go modify the boat with a console etc etc.

But a 40 and the 4.35 should go fine. Solid hull. Built like a truck.

P.s. The 400 or so price diffy was on a quote on the rrp of the truck hull. Check out leisure marine mate. You maybe able to save a few bucks. Saw a 03 model tinnie clearence in a mag a month or two back with some truck hulls on special. VERY well priced bargain packages. Happy hunting

mate has a 4.65 truck it is a great boat strong and wide plenty of room. he only has a 40 on it could do with a bit more power
